INTRODUCTION

Acting at the request of Jon Waynick the surveyor did attend onboard the Crumpet on April 17, 2007 at 9:00 AM where she rested at Riverside Marina, Fort Pierce, Florida.  The Ship's Papers were available and appeared to be in order.  A sea trial was not performed.  The reason for the survey is to ascertain the physical condition and value of the vessel for Coastal. The vessel was surveyed both in and out of the water. The engine was not operated. AC power was not available.  DC power was available.

No reference or information should be construed to indicate any of the following:

      1. Evaluation of the internal condition of the engine and the propulsion    system's operating capacity.

      2. Electronic compliance with the manufacturer's published specifications.

This vessel was surveyed without removal of any parts, including fittings, tacked carpet, screwed or nailed boards, anchors and chain, fixed partitions, instruments, clothing, spare parts and miscellaneous materials in the bilge and lockers, or other fixed or semi-fixed items.  Locked compartments or otherwise inaccessible areas would also preclude inspection.  Buyer/owner is advised to open up all such areas for further inspection.  Further, no determination of stability characteristics or inherent structural integrity has been made and no opinion is expressed with respect thereto.  This survey report represents the condition of the vessel on the above date and is the unbiased opinion of the undersigned but it is not to be considered an inventory or a warranty either specified or implied.

THE MANDATORY STANDARDS PROMULGATED BY THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG), UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE FEDERAL BOAT SAFETY ACT (CFR), AND THE STANDARDS AND PRACTICES DEVELOPED BY THE AMERICAN BOAT AND YACHT COUNCIL (ABYC) AND THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA) HAVE BEEN USED AS GUIDELINES IN THE CONDUCT OF THIS SURVEY.

FINDINGS REFLECT CONDITIONS OBSERVED AT THE TIME OF SURVEY.

**********

The American Boat and Yacht Council “Standards and Recommendationsâ€?, are defined by reference to - “ABYCâ€?.  These standards were developed in cooperative effort with the National Marine Manufactures Association, to complement, the mandatory standards promulgated by the United States Coast Guard under the authority of the Federal Boat Safety Act of 1971.  The ABYC Standards and Recommendations are considered to be voluntary, but are highly suggested by this surveyor.

FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

DEFICIENCIES NOTED UNDER "SAFETY" SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BEFORE THE VESSEL IS NEXT UNDERWAY.  THESE FINDINGS RELATE TO THE VESSEL'S SAFE AND PROPER OPERATION CONDITION.  FINDINGS MAY ALSO INDICATE A VIOLATION OF USCG REGULATIONS.

DEFICIENCIES NOTED UNDER "DEFICIENCIES NEEDING ATTENTION" SHOULD BE CORRECTED IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

"OTHER DEFICIENCIES, NOTES AND COMMENTS" IF ANY, IS AN AREA WHERE THE SURVEYOR MAY MAKE ADDITIONAL COMMENT REGARDING THE VESSEL AND ITS SYSTEMS.

NOTE:  It is advisable that all Seacocks have attached proper sized tapered wooden    plugs.  In addition, a proper oil analysis is recommended for the engine(s).

NOTE ON CARBON MONOXIDE:

Carbon Monoxide poisoning is a major concern in any vessel with a source producing device.  These devices are:

Carbon monoxide in high concentrations can be fatal in a matter of minutes.  Lower concentrations must not be ignored because the effects of exposure to CO are cumulative and can be just as lethal.

Even with the best boat design and construction plus utmost care in inspection, operation, and maintenance, hazardous levels of CO may still be present in accommodation spaces under certain conditions.  Continuing observation of passengers for symptoms of CO intoxication can be supplemented by an alarm type CO detection device in the accommodation space.

SUMMARY AND VALUATION

STATEMENT OF OVERALL VESSEL RATING OF CONDITION

The surveyor  develops an opinion as to the OVERALL VESSEL RATING OF CONDITION after a survey has been performed and the findings are organized in a logical manner.  The grading of a vessel’s condition as developed by BUC RESEARCH and accepted in the marine industry determines the adjustment to the range of base values in the

BUC USED BOAT PRICE GUIDE. Similar vessels sold within a given time period as well as vessels currently for sale are evaluated to determine the Market Value.

The following is the accepted marine grading system of condition:

As a result of my investigation as stated in the SYSTEMS AND FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS section of this REPORT OF SURVEY and by virtue of my experience my opinion of the

            OVERALL VESSEL RATING         ABOVE AVERAGE

The CT 34 is a nicely appointed and well lit vessel of a size that should make a comfortable Coastal craft.  The overall appearance is that of a well-kept, well-equipped boat and except for some attention to details noted within this report should perform with vigor and dignity.  In summation the vessel having been subject to the closest scrutiny available appears sound both structurally and mechanically with the exceptions noted in the recommendations section of this report.  This vessel has undergone a major refit and additional work is continuing to upgrade the boat and maintain the integrity of the boat.

Therefore after consideration of the reliability of the data the extent of the necessary adjustments and condition of the vessel it is your surveyor's opinion that the

"FAIR MARKET VALUE" of the subject vessel is:

$41,000

forty-one thousand and 00/100dollars

This report is submitted without prejudice and for the benefit of whom it may concern.
